2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee SRT
The muscle truck wars are officially back and Ram just threw gasoline on the fire with the announcement of the all-new Ram 1500 Rumble Bee lineup. For years enthusiasts have begged automakers to bring attitude, horsepower and street performance back to pickup trucks, and Ram answered in the loudest way possible. The return of the Rumble Bee nameplate isn’t just nostalgia, It’s a declaration that muscle trucks are once again a serious part of the American performance scene.

Leading the charge is the monster Rumble Bee SRT, powered by the most powerful V-8 engine ever offered in a production pickup truck. Under the hood sits a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI pumping out a ridiculous 777 horsepower. Let that sink in for a second. This truck is capable of a targeted top speed of 170 mph, launches from 0-60 mph in just 3.4 seconds and storms through the quarter mile in an estimated 11.6 seconds. Those are numbers that embarrass some modern supercars, yet this thing still has a truck bed.
Ram’s SRT division clearly looked toward its renewed NASCAR involvement for inspiration. The brand says the Rumble Bee SRT was engineered to be the most track-capable production pickup truck in the world. Massive 325/40R22 all-season tires wrapped around 22-by-12-inch wheels give the truck an aggressive planted stance unlike anything currently on the road. In fact, Ram says this is the widest wheel and tire combination the company has offered since the legendary Dodge Viper.

What makes the Rumble Bee lineup especially interesting is that Ram isn’t targeting just hardcore truck buyers. This lineup is aimed directly at muscle car fans who may already own a Challenger, Charger or Mustang but now want a pickup truck without sacrificing performance or personality. The truck world has evolved beyond simple workhorses, and Ram seems fully aware that lifestyle trucks are becoming the next major battleground.

The new Rumble Bee also introduces something fans have wanted for years, the 6.4-liter 392 HEMI inside a Ram 1500. The Rumble Bee 392 will deliver 470 horsepower and finally bridge the gap between traditional muscle and modern pickup capability. For those wanting more edge, Ram will also offer a 392 Track Pack model with additional performance upgrades.
Even with all this focus on speed and performance, Ram didn’t forget truck capability. Depending on configuration, the Rumble Bee lineup still offers up to 8,890 pounds of towing capacity and 1,160 pounds of payload. That means owners can still haul toys to the lake or tow a weekend race car while enjoying ridiculous performance on the way there.
Visually, the Rumble Bee gets an exclusive Quad Cab short-bed configuration with a wheelbase shortened by 13 inches. The result is a truck that looks stocky, muscular and purpose-built for aggressive handling dynamics. At 88 inches wide and over 219 inches long, the truck has the proportions of a street-fighting heavyweight.
Inside, Ram made sure the muscle truck identity carries throughout the cabin. Every Rumble Bee model receives a flat-bottom performance steering wheel, console shifter and paddle shifters to keep the driving experience sporty and engaging.
The lineup launches in phases beginning late 2026 with the 395-horsepower 5.7-liter HEMI Rumble Bee, while the 392 and fire-breathing SRT models arrive in early 2027. One thing is certain — the muscle truck era is officially back, and Ram just fired the first massive shot
